Use cases

Answely fits websites whose answers are public on their own pages – from the B2B website to the documentation.

B2B websites

Visitors look for a specific detail about a product, service or process. Answely answers the question briefly above the results and links the page where the detail is.

Documentation and knowledge bases

Long documentation answers many questions, but rarely at a glance. The answer links straight to the matching section. Version scopes keep answers for different product versions apart, and answer tests show after each indexing whether important questions are still properly supported.

The plugin adds the embed code; you enter the site key under Settings → Answely.

Your own search systems

If your server renders the results page itself, it fetches the finished box via POST. If you build your own interface, read the answer stream directly or use the JavaScript API.

Content without a page of its own

From the Pro plan you send publicly released content straight from your server through the push API – for example products, or pages the crawler cannot read because they are only built in the browser.

Where Answely does not fit

  • Confidential content. The answer API is public. Content with reader permissions, for example from an intranet, does not belong in the index.
  • Content without readable text. The crawler does not read pages built only with JavaScript or scanned PDFs; their text has to come through the push API.
  • Statements nobody checks. AI-generated answers can be wrong despite sources. Check critical statements against the linked sources.

A pilot

Before you commit: verify your domain, collect 50 typical questions, check sources and answers and test the integration in your real search. Measure the answer rate, source clicks, response times and helpful ratings. Check your website gives a first impression, even before you sign up.
