Point of contact under the Digital Services Act
The following serves as the single point of contact under Art. 11 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act) for the authorities of the Member States, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services, and as the point of contact for recipients of the service under Art. 12 of that Regulation:
- Email: support@answely.com
- Languages: German, English, Polish
The point of contact can be reached electronically; communication does not take place solely by means of automated tools. The quickest way to report illegal content in an answer box or a website index is via Report abuse.
Liability for content
As a service provider, we are responsible for our own content on these pages in accordance with general law. However, we are not obliged to monitor third-party information transmitted or stored, or to investigate circumstances indicating illegal activity. Obligations to remove or disable access to information under general law remain unaffected. Liability in this respect is only possible from the time we become aware of a specific infringement. As soon as we become aware of such an infringement, we remove the content concerned or disable access to it without undue delay.
This applies in particular to the content of our customers' websites: what an answer box on a customer website reproduces originates from the public pages of that website and from content the customer has imported itself. The respective customer, not Answely, is responsible for that content.
Liability for links
Our service contains links to external third-party websites over whose content we have no control. We therefore cannot accept any responsibility for this third-party content; the respective provider or operator of the linked pages is always responsible. The linked pages were checked for possible legal infringements at the time of linking; no illegal content was apparent. Permanent monitoring of the content is not reasonable without specific indications of an infringement. If we become aware of infringements, we remove such links immediately.
Source links in the answers of an answer box lead to pages of the respective customer website; they are generated automatically from its index.
Copyright
The content and works created by us on these pages – including the script answely.js, the software of the answer service, the interface, the texts and the documentation – are protected by copyright. Reproduction, adaptation, distribution and any exploitation beyond the limits of copyright law require our written consent, unless the use is permitted by the Terms of Use (for example embedding the script on your own website). Where content was not created by us, we respect the copyrights of third parties and identify such content. The Answely WordPress plugin is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPL-2.0-or-later). Third-party libraries are subject to their own licences.
The content of our customers' websites remains their content. Answely reads it only to generate answers for the respective website and does not use it to train AI models.
AI-generated content
Answers of the Answely answer box on our customers' websites are generated by a language model and labelled as AI-generated (Art. 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, AI Act). This labelling cannot be switched off. The answers are based on the content of the respective website and cite their sources; they may nevertheless contain errors. The linked source pages are authoritative. Details are available under AI Act.
Dispute resolution
The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform (ODR platform) was discontinued with effect from 20.07.2025; we therefore no longer provide a link to it.
We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. If you have a complaint, please contact us directly; the procedure is described under Complaints.
Data protection
How we process personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy; how you can request access and erasure is set out under Access and deletion.
Competent supervisory authority for data protection:
